I teach IGCSE Science to students in Years 8–11 from several British schools. I’ve spent 10 years in the classroom, mainly with Cambridge and Edexcel groups. Sessions usually start with clearing up class notes, then we tackle past-paper questions in topics like particles, cells, energy and acids. I pay close attention to exam command words and practical-style questions before mocks and finals.

I’m a second-year biomedical science student at Qatar University and tutor IGCSE Science in the evenings. Many of my students are in Year 10 and worried about keeping up once the content speeds up. We work through school worksheets first, then I add short recap questions on breathing, digestion, simple circuits and basic chemistry so nothing piles up before tests or mock exams, especially in term three.

Originally from London, I work as a full-time private tutor focusing only on IGCSE Science. Over the last 7 years I’ve supported students from most of the major international schools in Qatar. I like blending quick recall drills with longer exam questions on topics such as forces, atomic structure, enzymes and ecology, always using the mark schemes as a guide for improvement.
