Currently teaching Chemistry at an international school, I’ve been preparing classes for IGCSE Chemistry exams since 2012. My tutoring is structured around the specification and past papers from both Cambridge and Edexcel. I like to focus on mole calculations, bonding, electrolysis and the practical paper, using plenty of worked examples, mini quizzes and timed questions in the run-up to exams.

Hi, I’m a final-year Chemical Engineering student and I tutor IGCSE Chemistry after lectures and on weekends. I enjoy helping students who are fine with basic ideas but get stuck when calculations appear. We go slowly through topics such as empirical formula, reacting masses and energy changes, then switch to exam-style questions until you’re confident with each type of problem.

I’m a private tutor, and I support IGCSE Chemistry students from several schools. Many of my lessons are online in the evenings, which works well around busy school schedules. I put a lot of emphasis on understanding periodic trends, organic chemistry and rates of reaction, and I use simple, clear notes that link each idea to the sort of questions that appear in the papers.
